HoppArt Studio is an approved TEFA vendor, which means state-funded dollars in your family's TEFA account can go toward homeschool art classes at our Floresville studio, or online from wherever you are in Texas.

What Is Texas Education Freedom Accounts TEFA?

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) is the state's new Education Savings Account program, created by Senate Bill 2 and signed into law in 2025.

TEFA deposits public education dollars into a family-controlled account that parents can use for approved educational expenses — including private school tuition, tutoring, curriculum, educational technology, and enrichment classes like art.

For the 2026–27 school year, eligible children may receive an estimated award of up to $10,000 through their TEFA account. TEFA funds are not a loan, and applying doesn't obligate your family to accept funds if you're awarded a spot.
